Stark Future Electric Motorcycle Update

Stark Future Electric Motorcycle Update

Stark Future is a company that emerged unexpectedly and quickly gained popularity in the electric motorcycle industry. The company not only produced a functional motorcycle made of flesh and aluminum, but it also successfully delivered it to customers, making it profitable from the start.

In a world of electric motorcycle startups, this level of success is not always achieved, as seen with other companies like Damon. Stark Future has now introduced the Stark Varg EX, an enduro-focused model, with plans for a supermoto version in the near future. However, the original Stark Varg MX, a motocross dirt bike that was too competitive for FIM and X-Games, remains the flagship model that made the company profitable.

The latest update from Stark Future is the release of the Stark Varg MX 1.2, an upgraded version of the original MX. The key improvement is a new 7.2 kWh battery pack, providing 20% more range compared to the previous 6.5 kWh pack.

Other enhancements include a lighter and stronger chassis design, an overmolded wiring harness for improved durability, a dual-compound skid plate, a redesigned chain guide, a more efficient gearbox, modifications to the front fork inner tubes, and an updated Arkenstone infotainment display with new features like the Laps function for tracking GPS lap times.

Despite these upgrades, one issue encountered by riders is the design of the optional kickstand, which may need to be reinforced for better durability.

Prices for the Stark Varg MX 1.2 start at $12,490 for the 60 horsepower model, with an additional $1,000 due to tariffs imposed by the Trump Administration. Overall, the Stark Varg MX 1.2 offers improved performance and features, making it a desirable electric dirt bike for riders.

Stay tuned for more updates on Stark Future's electric motorcycles and upcoming adventures with the Stark Varg EX.
