Ridiculous Police Chase Ends with Man in Jail

Recently, there have been some absurd police chases featured on the RideApart site, including dangerous encounters between ATV riders and law enforcement, as well as a MotoGP star whose risky street riding caught attention. While we do not support police chases or reckless riding, it's hard not to chuckle at the sight of a motorcycle with a license plate that reads "WILL RUN".

In southern Minnesota, a man led authorities on a high-speed chase while riding an unregistered motorcycle with the aforementioned license plate. He has since been arrested and is currently in jail.

The incident occurred after the Meeker County Sheriff's Office received reports of a motorcycle rider speeding at over 100 mph on Highway 55 in Watkins, a town located about 25 miles southwest of St. Cloud. When a deputy attempted to stop the 37-year-old Watkins man, he fled and led the officer on a two-mile pursuit. The chase eventually transitioned to a foot race in a residential area, where the suspect was quickly apprehended and taken into custody at Meeker County Jail in Litchfield.

Unsurprisingly, the man now faces multiple criminal charges, including fleeing an officer, driving with a revoked license, and reckless driving. His actions clearly demonstrate a blatant disregard for the law and the consequences that follow.
