KTM Unveils Limited-Edition Track-Only RC 8C Race Bike

KTM has just revealed its exclusive track-only RC 8C race bike, boasting Moto2 levels of performance compared to the 2023 model. Only 100 hand-built 2024 RC 8Cs will be available for purchase, half the number from last year. Pre-orders will open on March 20th at 07:00 PDT for $41,499.

Key Features

The RC 8C was developed in collaboration with Krämer Motorcycles, featuring track-focused elements such as quick-release tank and body panels, lightweight Dymag wheels, and Pirelli race slicks. It also includes an AIM MXS 1.2 RACE dashboard with GPS functionality, a 5-inch TFT screen, and AIM RaceStudio for performance analysis.

The bike is powered by an up-specced 889 cc parallel-twin engine, delivering close to 140 hp. It features a racing Akrapovič exhaust and a 25CerMo4 steel tubular frame with Carbon Kevlar bodywork inspired by the KTM RC16. WP suspension components, including a 43 mm closed cartridge fork and WP APEX PRO 7746 shock, ensure optimal handling.

Braking is handled by MotoGP-derived Brembo 19RCS CORSA CORTA radial master cylinders, Brembo Stylema calipers, and fully-floating discs. Owners of the RC 8C will receive a special handover session in Portimão, Portugal, including a personalized track setup, private dinner, meet and greet, and an exclusive track day experience.
