Cub House Honda Introduces New Colorway for Honda C125 in 2024
If you're someone who enjoys starting fresh at the beginning of each new year, then Cub House Honda has something special for you in 2024. Cub House Honda, a subsidiary of Thai Honda, is known for its custom paint and graphics schemes and accessories for popular Honda models like the Monkey, CT125, and C125.
From limited-edition bikes like the Hot Wheels Monkey to the Trail Explorer CT125, Cub House Honda knows how to make your favorite Honda 125 stand out from the rest.
For its first release of 2024, Cub House Honda is taking a classic approach. The new colorway for the Honda C125, called Prestige Classy Blue, features a sophisticated shade of blue paired with cream on the bike's bodywork. The split saddle design from 2023 remains, but instead of opting for black, gray, or a neutral color, Cub House Honda has chosen a bright pop of red.
The result is a clean and bold look that combines classic and modern elements. In a world where things are becoming increasingly disposable, this colorway makes an interesting statement. Considering the C125's long family history, this sentiment is even more significant.
In addition to Prestige Classy Blue, the C125 will also be available in Essence Gray and Mat Black for 2024. The red and white colorway from 2023 will not be carried over to the new year, although it may still be found in showrooms.
The Honda C125 is equipped with a 123.94cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine, air-cooled, and with a single overhead camshaft. It has a bore and stroke of 50.0 by 63.1 and a compression ratio of 10.0 to one. The bike comes with a four-speed manual transmission and an electric start.
Suspension features a nonadjustable telescopic front fork and a rear swingarm. It has a single disc brake in the front and a drum brake in the rear. The wheels are 17-inch alloy units with tubeless tires.
The wheelbase measures 1,247 millimeters (49 inches), while the length is 1,910mm (75.1 in.), width is 718mm (28.2 in.), and height is 1,002 mm (39.4 inches). The caster is 26 degrees, and the trail is 71mm (or 30 inches). The seat height is 780mm (30.7 inches), and the fuel tank capacity is 3.7 liters (0.9 gallons), located under the seat. The net vehicle weight is 109 kilograms (approximately 240.3 pounds).
The listed price for the new Honda C125 in Thailand for 2024 is ฿89,600, which is equivalent to about $2,543.
It's worth noting that Honda tends to introduce changes to its minimotos in different regions at different times. For example, the third-generation Honda Grom was first released in Europe and then in the US a year later. Similarly, the stunning Matt Axis Gray Metallic and red color scheme for the Super Cub was initially available in Europe before coming to the US. While Cub House Honda creates exclusive limited edition paint and graphics packages for the Thai market, larger aesthetic changes like this are more likely to be introduced in other markets.
While there are no guarantees, and no official confirmation outside of Thailand, it is more probable that color schemes like this will be available for C125 bikes in other markets compared to something like a Cody Clover Edition Monkey.
