Introducing the New Honda Grom: A Redesigned Option for the Thai Market

The Honda Grom, also known as the MSX 125, has a timeless appeal with its stylish design. It doesn't matter if you're a rider or not, there's something about the Grom that brings a smile to everyone's face.

When it comes to determining the best generation of Grom, opinions may vary. However, Thai Honda is now offering a new choice to the world.

On December 4, 2023, Thai Honda unveiled the "New Honda Grom" design specifically for the Thai market. While it has only been announced in Thailand for now, previous updates have typically started there before being introduced globally in the following months. This is logical considering that the Honda Grom is manufactured in Thailand.

The New Grom design retains its distinctive headlight shape and turn signal placement, but now features an LED headlight. The graphics have also been updated, along with redesigned bodywork that is sure to elicit a range of opinions.

Lower down on the New Grom, you'll notice the addition of a sporty belly pan. Although it's a bike and not a pet, there's an inexplicable desire to give it a belly rub.

The New Grom is equipped with a 125cc engine and a five-speed manual gearbox, as well as a slip-on exhaust, ABS with a G-sensor, and an upside-down front fork.

If you're in Thailand and interested in the New Grom, you're in luck. Thai Honda has announced that you can visit your local Honda dealership during regular business hours starting from December 4, 2023, to purchase the New Grom.

The New Grom is available in three colors and two specifications. The top-tier model, which includes ABS with G-Sensor, is offered in a grey and black color scheme. The MSRP for this model is ฿ 77,900, or approximately $2,205.

Alternatively, you can choose the regular Honda Grom, which comes with an MSRP of ฿ 69,900, or about $1,979. This version is available in either red and black or blue and black color schemes.
