Shoei Unveils Glamster MM93 Collection Classic Helmet
Shoei, a renowned helmet brand, has recently introduced the Glamster MM93 Collection Classic helmet, set to be available in January 2024. This new edition combines the retro design of the Glamster with the race-inspired livery of the MM93 Collection. The color scheme features gray and black elements with a touch of red, adding a sporty flair. The helmet's vintage appeal is intended to complement a variety of retro and retro-inspired motorcycles.
The Glamster, part of Shoei's Neo Classic series, has been a popular choice in the neo-retro segment since its debut in Europe in 2020. Its distinctive features include a classic-shaped shell, slim chin bar, and slender air intakes. The CPB-1V visor is easily adjustable and compatible with a Pinlock anti-fog visor, making it suitable for different weather conditions.
When it comes to safety, the Glamster prioritizes impact absorption and dissipation with Shoei's Advanced Integrated Matrix (AIM) construction. In Japan, it meets the latest JIS safety standards, and it will comply with the latest ECE 22.06 safety standard when released in Europe and other markets.
The Glamster MM93 Collection Classic will be available for purchase in Japan starting January 2024, with availability in other markets to follow. It will come in sizes ranging from S to XXL and feature a gray, black, and red motif. The helmet package includes a cloth bag, sticker, Pinlock visor, chin curtain, silicon oil, and a pin for the Pinlock visor. The retail price is set at 61,600 yen, approximately $411.
