Suzuki Matsuri: A Celebration of Suzuki in India
Suzuki is well-known for its high-performance motorcycles like the GSX-R1000R and Hayabusa in the western world. However, in the Asian market, Suzuki offers a range of two-wheelers that prioritize practicality and utility over sheer performance.
In India, Suzuki motorcycles like the Access 125, Gixxer 250 SF, and Burgman Street play a crucial role in the daily mobility of thousands of Indians. As a result, Suzuki has become one of the most reputable brands in the Indian market with a large user base. To commemorate its success and foster a sense of belonging in India, Suzuki has announced its first-ever Suzuki Matsuri, scheduled for October 1, 2023.
The Suzuki Matsuri, which means "festival" in Japanese, aims to celebrate all things Suzuki in India and will take place at the Major Dhyan Chand Stadium in Delhi. Tickets for the event can be purchased exclusively through Paytm Insider, and it will start at 2 PM on October 1, 2023.
The event will offer a variety of activities for enthusiasts and Suzuki fans, including workshops, expert talks, bike displays, and test rides. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy live performances and track rides, allowing them to experience Suzuki's offerings up close and personal. The Suzuki Matsuri will feature different sections where attendees can choose their preferred activities. For example, the Garage and Workshops section will provide interactions with motorcycle influencers, toolkit displays, and photography tips from industry experts. Additionally, there will be a wide selection of food options and merchandise displays.
During the event, DJ Netin will keep the atmosphere lively with music, while Rustom K Patel will serve as the master of ceremonies. Enthusiasts will also have the chance to test ride the latest Suzuki models at the Track Arena, and witness a Stunt Show and off-road exhibition. Lastly, there will be a moto-gymkhana course where riders can showcase their riding skills.
