Ducati Family Day: A Celebration of Employees and their Families

Ducati recently hosted an exciting event called "Ducati Family Day" at its Borgo Panigale plant. The event aimed to provide a relaxing and enjoyable experience for company employees and their families and friends, while also showcasing the workplace.

Ducati recognizes that its employees are its most valuable resource. They are the true supporters of the brand and have played a significant role in making Ducati a prominent player in the industry. The Family Day event was designed to foster a sense of belonging and a family spirit among the employees.

A total of 4,200 people attended the event at the Borgo Panigale facility. Various departments within the company organized special activities to give guests a unique Ducati experience. One of the highlights was the opportunity to tour the Ducati Corse department, which is typically restricted to authorized personnel. Visitors had the chance to explore the development workshop for the motorcycles used in MotoGP and WorldSBK championships, providing an exceptional experience for both guests and employees.

Participants also had the chance to engage in hands-on activities such as assembling and disassembling a Ducati engine, conducting motorcycle tests, and mastering the use of motorcycle diagnostic tools. They were able to explore the Ducati Museum and Factory, gaining firsthand insights into motorcycle design, production, and assembly from the experts involved in these processes.

Even the youngest enthusiasts had a great time at the event. They expressed their creativity by doodling on various boards at the Centro Stile Ducati, participated in friendly racing competitions using toy motorcycles on a designated track, and even took on the role of apprentice mechanics under the guidance of Ducati experts. It was an enjoyable and educational experience for kids.

In addition to the activities, Ducati organized a charity fair in collaboration with various organizations. AIL, Cartiera, Emergency, and UNHCR shared valuable information about their missions, raising awareness about important issues such as upcycling, prevention efforts, and the promotion of human rights. This initiative aimed to foster a sense of social responsibility and support for these meaningful causes.
