Reworded Article

We have all experienced it. We approach a railroad crossing, the lights start flashing, the barriers come down to block our path, and we put our cars or motorcycles in Park to wait for the train to pass. Minutes go by, we check our phones, change the radio station, or fiddle with something in the vehicle. No sound breaks the silence, however.

We wait, and wait, and wait some more. The line of vehicles behind us, as well as in front, continues to grow longer. It is at this point that an annoying thought crosses your mind: What if I just went around the barriers?

However, this is not the wisest idea. We have all seen the news highlights. We have watched the Instagram Reels and TikToks and various "Don't ever cross train tracks when the lights are flashing and the barriers are down!" videos produced by Rules of the Road. When you do so, you often put your life, as well as the lives of those on the train, in danger. And let me tell you, a car or motorcycle is no match for a train.

But what if you can see for miles in both directions? What if local laws permit you to walk across the tracks, but not ride or drive, when the lights are flashing and the barriers are down? What do you do when nothing is approaching and you are just sitting on your motorcycle? Simple, just lift the bike, put it on your shoulders, and walk across without a worry in the world.

What we witness here is a hero, plain and simple. The man, clearly frustrated with the blocked tracks, traffic building up, and no train in sight, simply picks up his motorcycle, hoists the entire thing onto his shoulder, and strolls across the tracks as if it is a daily routine. The guy doesn't even appear to be struggling under the weight of what must be a 300-pound bike.

I do not have any additional information about this individual, although it seems like he is somewhere in India based on the writing visible in the video. Furthermore, the man does all of this while wearing sandals. Imagine any Western powerlifters attempting to deadlift anything in anything other than powerlifting shoes. They wouldn't stand a chance.

Here is where I will issue a safety warning regarding this video. As impressive as this guy is for finding a loophole in the system, as mentioned earlier, this type of behavior often lands you in the news, and not in a positive way like this guy. At best, you may find yourself in the hospital, and at worst, in jail or worse.

So hats off to this guy, but perhaps refrain from attempting this at home...
